I am Carrie Rose, an artist and graphic designer living and working in Los Angeles. As a child of the 80s growing up in Detroit, I watched a lot of TV. It saturated my brain with sitcoms, stars, commercials, jingles, theme songs… maybe that's why I've always been drawn to pop art. I enjoy pop art for its bold colors and compositions, but especially because its meaning can be as superficial or as deep as you're willing to go. I hope you'll find my work visually compelling, maybe humorous, or perhaps be drawn to the dark side lurking behind the flashy façade.
